On the left is
Ben shortly after landing from his 7th jump.
"That was my
favourite jump, AFF Level 5R with Jonno,
Good Solo exit, complete control in the air
and my first perfect landing!"
We asked Jonno
one of the AFF Instructors, about Ben's
thoughts on his favourite jump: 'the good
exit and complete control in the air?'
"¿...#..@..^..¡..Ø..¿..!"

Congratulations to
Jim, David, and Leo, who completed their Level 8 Hop 'n' Pops
today! Ben, Jay and Stu it's your turn tomorrow.
To celebrate, we
all enjoyed a few beers whilst watching the end of
day DVD!!! Some retired shortly after, some didn't. Hope you didn't stay out too late lads!
The group took a
break over the weekend to see the local sites, visit
Seville and experience the great Spanish bars,
restaurants and night life.
Day Seven... 4th
days jumping
|

Above,
David completes the CH1 Test Paper after
getting some tips from our DZ controller
Derek, who can be seen here doing talkdown!
Meanwhile
below, we are not sure if Jim is trying to
tell us he's done two jumps today or if he's
ready for his CH2...
 |
During the
exped's consolidation jumps, they took
advantage of Derek's canopy handling
knowledge and completed a series of canopy
drills.

 |
Ben got up to his
level 6, and disputed a beer fine. We put it to the
rest of the RAF group if Ben had infringed the beer
fine rules. The video of Ben's level 6 jump
showed... not 1, not 2 but 3 infringements
1) Chest strap
misrouted at pre-flight check
2) Seat restraint
still attached at 4,000ft
3) Bribing the
video editor to cut the footage!!
Result = Beer
fine!!! A case of cold beers please landlady!
Last Day's Jumping...

Ben completed
his consolidation jumps on his final day
